I have multiple issues with VB shout...
1. No smilies I upload are displayed in shout
2. New thread option is checked but no posts are showing
3. When I go to edit the instance, it wont let me as it has an error on the page
An unexpected error was returned: 'count(): Argument Home Page ($value) must be of type Countable|array, null given'

Do this

Delete vbshout from admin cp
Delete from server file vbshout
Delete database vbshout in host cpanel

After install latest vbshout - should work

Did that...still the same...I get this error when trying to change instance settings

Try downgrade PHP to 7.4 - i use vbshout and no problems.

Deleted everything...Reuploaded, uploaded xml...Got all the options, but still loading..
